John Nolan was the winner of the roadgoing class in his 1500cc Toyota Starlet. Youngster Keith Grant joined the championship taking the win in the Novice class

Co. Kildare Motor Club will host Event 2 of the Motorsport Ireland National Kart Championship. The event takes place in Whiteriver Park Collon Co. Louth. Irelands top 4 stroke karts will go to battle on the 12th of April
